Zinsser All Coat Exterior Satin Paint Review

by Mars

With winter drawing closer, we undertook some required maintenance work on the exterior of our garden room, and finished it off by applying Zinsser All Coat Exterior Satin paint in a bespoke colour (Green Blue by Farrow & Ball) to match our Chartwell Green PVC windows.

Before applying the paint, we sanded down flakey areas, vacuumed up cobwebs and removed all dust and residue using a damp cloth. We then applied the Zinsser All Coat Exterior Satin paint, and show you how the paint applied.

We purchased our paint from the Decorating Centre, which was a quick and easy process and the paint arrived six days after placing our order.

Fun fact about the colour Chartwell Green

Why is Chartwell Green called Chartwell Green? The name comes from the fact that Winston Churchill chose this particular shade of green when decorating his country home in Kent – Chartwell House. He painted his garden furniture in the colour.

Hi, did you use water based zinsser or solvent? I’ve got water based and want to paint my front door this weekend. Humidity high and temps are low at night.
Thanks
