Strimming the field

by Mars

With all the work happening on the veg patch, our ‘wild’ field has gone out of control. We need to strim it twice a year or the grass gets up to waist height.

For this job, it was time to get the Ryobi strimmer out which we purchased last year for this very reason. It’s a beast of a strimmer, and it gets through dock leaves, wild grass and anything else.

It is, however, a tiring task because it takes three hours to complete as there’s quite a bit of field to get through.

But at least it’s done until late summer. Phew. I have definitely earned my beer tonight.
