Two years ago we sanded down and treated all our garden furniture using a variety of products from different brands. Some have been better than others, and the Sadolin varnishes have aged well. Given that most of the furniture painted in Cuprinol Shades is flaking, we opted for Sadolin Superdec Satin Opaque Wood Protection this summer to protect the furniture and we also used their wood filler to fill any gaps and cracks.
As part of the project, we painted our balinese mango wood bench by the pond, teak tables and chairs on the deck, and our oldest teak Balinese bench in the back courtyard.
