Spring Watch: It’s A Badger

by Mars

We woke up this morning to several animal notifications from our Netatmo smart security camera. When we reviewed the footage we were pleasantly surprised to have our first ever badger sighting.

We’ve posted the footage of the badger helping himself to the seeds we put out for the robins, pheasants and birds, and you can enjoy the video while listening to Pete Stewart’s song Brushes.

What is so excellent about this camera from Netatmo is that it has loads of settings and options, so we have it set to record and capture wildlife at night using its night mode only. When it detects animals, it doesn’t turn the security light on so which means that it didn’t disturb the badger during its midnight feast.

In respect of the RHI scheme for ASH system has anyone made a successful application in a new build home?

I am being told as our builder was technically the first owner we are not eligible for the scheme.

Unable to contact Ofgem at the moment.

Many thanks
