Dunlop Purofort Plus Wellington Boot review

by Mars

I mentioned last year how disappointed I was with the poor quality of my overpriced Hunter Gardener wellies. Three months ago, I purchased a pair of Dunlop boots and have been wearing them over the winter. It’s time to reveal our Hoggs of Fife Dunlop Purofort Plus Wellington Boot review.

What’s also really cool about this boot is that it’s unisex, and we’re thinking of getting Kirsten a pair because her Hunter wellies are also now starting to crack.

I’ve had the hardest time finding a good pair of rubbers! (what we Canadians call rubber boots, aka Wellies) I have over developed calves, and have yet to find a pair of calf-high boots that fit. I finally bought a cheap pair and cut them short. I’d hate to invest in a good quality pair of boots like these, then have to cut them to fit my calves! LOL

I do find it astonishing just how many wellie (rubber boots 😀) are made so tight that you struggle to put your foot in. Crazy.
