Reclaimed, rustic wood planters for succulents

My wife purchased some well priced succulents from our local garden centre and asked me to make some rustic wood planters.

We went to our reclaimed wood stash in the garage (which we inherited from the previous owners) and found some great pieces for the planters. Some of the wood, by our reckoning, will be well over 100 years old.

We pieced them together and they’ve turned out looking great, stylistically complimenting the new succulents.

They’ll be outside for the summer, and we’ll move them into the conservatory for the winter.
