Menopause Books & Sites

Finding myself in perimenopause has been a huge eye opener. I have never felt so ill-equipped in how to deal with my body or less prepared for what my body is about to go through. A natural transition for all women, yes, but it also brings a wave of changes – both physical and emotional. Fear not! We don’t have to navigate this journey alone. After doing a deep dive I have found a wealth of informative and supportive resources to guide us through perimenopause and menopause. Here is my guide to some great perimenopause resources, online websites and must-read books.

Best Online Menopause Resources:

  • The Latte Lounge: This website creates a warm and friendly space for women to connect, share menopausal experiences, find support, and find out more about symptoms.
  • Perimenopause & Menopause Symptom Quiz: While not a definitive diagnostic tool, this quiz can be a helpful starting point to explore your potential symptoms and gain insights into this life stage.
  • Menopause.org: This comprehensive website by the American Congress of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (ACOG) provides in-depth information on everything menopause-related, from symptom management to healthy living tips.
  • The Pause Life Blog: Dr. Mary Claire Haver’s blog offers evidence-based information on menopause, featuring articles on nutrition, symptom management, and navigating this life transition.
