Planting more spring bulbs

With the first batch of spring bulbs (double daffodils, giant bluebells and crocuses) in the ground, the latest consignment of Farmer Gracy bulbs arrived.

The new bulbs were all destined for pots around our front and back garden (which was much easier and faster than getting them through the turf in our field), so we set about getting the narcissus (Waterperry and Acropolis) and hyacinth (Blue Star) into their respective places.

This means we have planted 210 bulbs in pots with a further 500 in the ground. I think Kirsten’s wish for some spring flowers may just come true in 2021. Job done!
