Having lived exclusively in cities until we moved into Home Farm, we’ve been used to people giving you space and separation. That’s not so common in be countryside, which is why we’re implementing more social distancing measures.
I don’t know what it is, but people are hellbent on ignoring social distancing during this Coronavirus pandemic. Our post man is adamant about opening our front door, which is why we moved the post box far away from the front door.
In a bid to generally keep people at bay we put up a front gate. We’re in a remote location, and we’ve never needed a gate, but this seems to be the only way forward.
Hopefully, this is a subtle, polite sign that we’d like to keep our distance.
