Healthy Oat Baked Chocolate Pots – Guilt-Free & Delicious

It’s 2025, and we are making a big effort to get healthier and stronger. So far, so good. We started over Christmas, committing to daily exercise, eating better, and making smarter food choices. One of the best changes has been finding healthier desserts that still feel indulgent. Our favourite so far? Healthy oat baked chocolate pots.

These little puddings are quick, easy and packed with wholesome ingredients. They are light on the tummy, simple to digest and taste like a rich chocolate fondant. Even better, they contain no butter or oil, making them the perfect guilt-free treat.

This recipe is incredibly versatile. Want a nuttier version? Add extra peanut butter. Love a spiced flavour? Try a carrot cake version with cinnamon, nutmeg and grated carrot. Prefer something fruity? Add a handful of berries. But today, we are sharing our go-to chocolate version, which always hits the spot.

Healthy Oat Baked Chocolate Pots Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 1 egg
  • ¼ cup pure maple syrup
  • ½ cup rolled oats
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ½ cup milk (we use oat milk)
  • ½ teaspoon baking soda
  • 2 tablespoons raw cocoa powder
  • ½ banana or 1 tablespoon pure peanut butter

Method:

  • Blend all ingredients together in a smoothie mixer or Nutribullet.
  • Rub ramekin dishes with butter to prevent sticking.
  • Place one or two squares of dark chocolate at the bottom of each dish.
  • Pour chocolate batter into the ramekins.
  • Garnish with preferred nuts. We love a couple of pecans.
  • Bake in an air fryer at 150°C for 13 minutes or in a preheated oven.

Why We Love It

  • Ready in just five minutes
  • No butter or oil – light and easy to digest
  • Naturally sweetened with banana and maple syrup
  • Packed with fibre-rich oats for slow-releasing energy
  • Can be adapted to different flavours

Quick Tip

Cleaning your mixer is a breeze. Add a squirt of washing-up liquid and cold water, then give it a quick whizz. Rinse, and you’ve got a lot less washing up.

These healthy oat baked chocolate pots have become a staple in our kitchen. They are proof that eating well doesn’t mean giving up dessert. Give them a try and let us know what you think.
