Gutting our master bathroom

Last week Friday, as we were heading to bed, we discovered water leaking through our hallway ceiling. Leaks of this nature are scary. We turned the stopcock off, but the leak persisted. Upon checking the central heating pressure, it was through the roof. We turned our heating off and bled some radiators to get the pressure down. It worked.

50 electric onions planted

We eat a lot of vegetables, and since we’ve moved to the countryside we’ve been experimenting with what we can successfully grow ourselves. Over the summer, we grew Isobel onions from seed, and they were extremely flavoursome and a bug success. We purchased a bag of Taylor’s Electric onions from our local garden centre, a winter onion, to get an early harvest next year.
